Trenton Patch Player of the Game: Chad Hamilton
The sharp-shooting senior forward was a monster for the Trojans Tuesday night with 27 points and 14 rebounds against Redford Thurston.
Chad Hamilton, the quarterback of the Trojans football team, is used to being in the spotlight. His performance Tuesday night on the basketball court put him right back in everyone's attention.
The senior was extremely active all night whether he was hitting three-pointers, grabbing a rebound, or dishing out a beautiful assist.
"He was active, yes," Trojan coach Rick Morrow said. "That's the same word his father used when I spoke to him just now. Very active. He was the quarterback of the football team and I think that helped him. Just being a leader and understanding that winning is all that counts."

Hamilton agreed with his coach. Hamilton can shoot the three, put the ball on the floor, see the court when passing the ball, and he rebounds well, but Hamilton said that the most important thing he brings to the table for his team is leadership.
"I really don't care about stats anymore," the senior co-captain said. "I just care about winning. All I want is wins. I don't care how it happens."
