Whiz Kid: Leif-Erik Wolsek

Accomplishments: Wolsek is a member of the German Club and will travel to Germany this summer. He recently began tutoring fellow classmates after school.

Wolsek has performed in Trenton High School drama and play productions throughout his high school career and has held lead roles in various plays and musicals. He has been a four-year member of the Trenton High School Marching Band and was named High Brass Section Leader in his senior year.

Athletically speaking, Wolsek is a four-year varsity swimmer for the Trojans. He is a certified lifeguard for the and has worked helping younger swimmers during the summer months.

It’s no surprise that Wolsek is college-bound, and he has an interest in the sciences and engineering. He is currently considering Northern Michigan University and the University of Detroit Mercy.

And if all that wasn't enough to keep him busy, Wolsek is working on his final Eagle Scout project. Leif-Erik is the oldest of five brothers in the Wolsek household, a fantastic role model to say the least.

Key to Success: Leif-Erik's father, Robert Wolsek, attributes his son's success to "his love of reading and music."
