• Troy Fire Department Hosting Open Houses at All Six Stations Oct. 4 (oaklandcounty115.com) — Troy residents are invited to visit any of the city's six fire stations on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 1–4 p.m. for free open houses featuring safety demonstrations, ladder truck rides at select stations, and cider and donuts. Families can tour trucks, meet firefighters, and learn stovetop and vehicle extrication safety at locations across Troy, including stations on Big Beaver, Maple, John R, Livernois, and Coolidge.
