Anne Parsons, President & CEO of Detroit Symphony Orchestra, to Keynote the 12th Annual Nonprofit Management Conference

Nonprofit Management Conference provides affordable training & strategic networking for nonprofit professionals, board members & volunteers.

Anne Parsons, President & CEO of Detroit Symphony Orchestra, will be the keynote speaker at the 12th Annual Nonprofit Management Conference on May 18 at Walsh College (3838 Livernois Rd., Troy). For over 30 years, Ms. Parsons has served in management positions for a variety of major arts organizations, including the New York City Ballet, the Hollywood Bowl in LA, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington D.C.

Now in its 12th year, the Nonprofit Management Conference, provides affordable training and strategic networking opportunities for nonprofit professionals, board members and volunteers. The day-long conference in sponsored by PNC Bank.

“It’s important for nonprofits to keep current on best practices,” says Jody House, Vice President of the Troy Chamber of Commerce and staff liaison to the Nonprofit Network. “Over the course of the 11-year history of this conference, the Troy Chamber has provided low-cost training and networking opportunities to more than 1,000 nonprofit professionals from all over southeast Michigan, including executive directors, program managers, fund development specialists, board members and volunteers.”

The cost for the day-long event, meals included, is $60 for Troy Chamber members and $110 for non-members. Two or more attendees from the same non-member organization will receive a $10 discount per person. Space is limited and reservations must be made in advance.
