Back to School Supply Drive Runs Through Friday

Southfield-based real estate company has collections throughout Metro Detroit, including Troy location.

A back-to-school supply drive hosted by a Southfield-based real estate company will run through Friday will help several schools in Oakland and Wayne Counties, including Schroeder Elementary School in Troy.

"Many of us will spend this weekend shopping for supplies to get our children prepared for back to school, but it is easy to forget that there are members of our community struggling to provide these materials for their children at the start of the school year," said Andrew Farbman, CEO of the Farbman Group, which is sponsoring the drive.

The group is asking community members to join employees and building tenants to help fill collection boxes at its offices in Troy, Southfield, Bingham Farms and Detroit.
