Holiday cheer will fill Great Lakes Crossing Outlets with Fishmas and Holiday Bricktacular events

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Guests who bring in a new winter hat, scarf or pair of gloves to donate to a local shelter will receive $7 off walk-up tickets now through Friday, December 23, and those who bring donations on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 24 and 25 will receive 50 percent off walk-up tickets.

“The holidays are meant for spending quality time with family and friends, and we make it our mission to create a great experience that families can enjoy,” said Hayley Anderson, general manager for LEGOLAND Discovery Center and SEA LIFE Michigan. “SEA LIFE Michigan and LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan are the perfect places to start a new holiday tradition this year. At SEA LIFE Michigan’s “Fishmas” celebration, guests will be submerged into an underwater wonderland with holiday lights, snowflakes, gingerbread houses, candy and more throughout the aquarium. Children can participate in creating holiday cards for some of their favorite SEA LIFE creatures and deliver it to their stockings, as well as keeping a look out for “Merlin,” the Elf on a Shelf, who will be placed in a different location every day. Visitors can take a picture with Scuba Santa and watch him and his helper elf take a dive to feed special treats to all the fish that have been good this year. Santa dives will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 13 and 20.

The holiday fun continues at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan’s Holiday Bricktacular, where children can play in a winter wonderland and help build ornaments for a special LEGO tree, create greeting cards during Toddler Time, participate in a Holiday Scavenger Hunt in MINILAND and participate in a special build in the Creative Workshop. Don’t forget to look for a special LEGO Elf on the Shelf and enter for a chance to win a holiday prize package.
