GODSPELL - Musical

The Troy Theatre Ensemble (Troy High School’s award-winning, internationally recognized, extracurricular theater troupe) is proud to present the musical, GODSPELL.  With 20 cast members, this ensemble-style show follows a charismatic leader in his journey to form a community of distinct individuals as they learn to work together and spread the message of togetherness, compassion, and commitment. The story is told through exuberant song and dance, and improvisational-style storytelling and pantomime.  A crowd-pleasing and inspiring show, GODSPELL features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz ("Wicked") and has been an audience, family-appealing hit since it was first staged in New York in the early 1970's.
Performances of GODSPELL will be presented in the Troy High School Auditorium on Fridays & Saturdays, Feb. 28, March 1, 7, & 8, 2014, at 7:00 p.m.; and Sundays, March 2 & 9, 2014, at 3:00 p.m.  Reserved seat tickets are priced at $14 for adults, and $8 for students under 18 & senior citizens 60 & over, and can be purchased by visiting our ticket website, www.seatyourself.biz/troytheatreensemble  (Any remaining seats will be available at the box office on show nights as general admission tickets.  Visit our website, www.ttensemble.weebly.com for further information.)  Troy High School is located at 4777 Northfield Pkwy., Troy, MI  48098
