Local Boxing Fitness Club Owners Honored as Franchisees of the Year

Local entrepreneurs and TITLE Boxing Club of Farmington Hills and Troy owners, Ashok and Kavitha Kumar were recently recognized at the TITLE Boxing Club national conference as distinguished recipients of the company’s prestigious award— Franchisees of the Year.

Surrounded by fellow TITLE Boxing Club owners at the franchise’s national conference in Nashville, Ashok and Kavitha were recognized for embodying the very best the company has to offer. The business owners have demonstrated their ability to operate with a premium mindset and adhere to the company’s high values. The husband and wife team ranked in the top quartile for key metrics measured by TITLE Boxing Club and have been open and operating their Farmington club since 2013 and Troy club since 2015, respectfully.

Growing up in India in a family of entrepreneurs, Ashok always dreamed of owning his own business. After spending 19 years in the IT industry, he decided to pursue a career in small business ownership. After being introduced to the franchising business model through friends, Ashok and his wife Kavitha researched different opportunities, eventually choosing TITLE Boxing Club after experiencing the workout and seeing the success of the company’s other clubs. After opening their first club in Farmington Hills in February 2013, Ashok and Kavitha opening their second club in Troy in December 2015. Their recent award is a result of their incredibly hard work and dedication to providing their members with the best fitness experience.
