Local Couple Entertain Guests Of All Ages

"Our best dates are when we're working," laughs Troy resident Honey Murray as she talks about her husband, Tim Murray, and their Detroit Tracks music business. "We are dressed up and happily looking forward to attending a special event together -- where WE just happen to be the entertainment!"

She adds, "We performed at a wonderful First Communion celebration last Saturday, and on Sunday we entertained at a "Cruise Ship" party for seniors."

Though Tim Murray does sing with live bands and orchestras, Tim and Honey most often perform using pre-recorded, professional backing tracks.

"Though we love performing with live musicians, the tracks allow us to sing all types of songs from many genres and for any audience type-- and it keeps fees very affordable," Tim said. " Our system is perfect for so many occasions and venues: backyard barbecues, intimate weddings, oldies dances, fundraisers, church functions, restaurants, country clubs, and for parties all types.'

Tim and Honey are especially popular with retirement communities. "Activities directors hire us for their music entertainment events, and residents and guests always comment on how uplifted they are and how much they love the music. It's very rewarding!'

"We love what we do," Honey adds, "And every job is also, for us, a date..."
