MOD Pizza in Troy Celebrate s Grand Opening with Fundraiser
Grand opening celebration will include "Pay What You Want" fundraiser benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Troy
TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a Michigan-based family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual, quick service and family dining restaurants throughout the state, will celebrate the grand opening of its Troy MOD Pizza restaurant on Wednesday, June 27 with an all-day “Pay What You Want” fundraiser. The new Troy restaurant opened to the public on May 22 and is located at 770 Big Beaver Road between Charter Drive and Rochester Road. TSFR Brand Leader of MOD Pizza Jake Schostak made the announcement.
“At MOD Pizza, we are committed to creating positive change in the lives of those in our communities, or Spreading MODness as we like to call it,” said Schostak. “We make pizza so we can serve people, and we are excited to be celebrating the grand opening of our Troy MOD Pizza location so that we can serve even more people in Michigan. We look forward to welcoming the community to this great event in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Troy to help them put young people on the path to great futures.”
The “Pay What You Want” event will begin at 10:30 a.m. and conclude at 8 p.m. Guests can pay an amount of their choosing for their meal, with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club of Troy to aid in its mission to provide a safe, positive place for youth to grow, learn, play, interact and develop into self-reliant, responsible and contributing members of the community.

“As an organization committed to guiding the youth in Troy to a successful future, we are excited to welcome such a like-minded business to the community and partner with them for their grand opening Pay What You Want day,” said Boys and Girls Club of Troy CEO, Jeff Evans. “This opportunity will help us to continue offering a number of programs and services for youth to participate in amidst their journey to adulthood, and we are thankful for MOD Pizza’s partnership.”
MOD Pizza uses fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces, including MOD red sauce and MOD white sauce. Guests can create their own pizzas and salads, using any combination of 30 featured toppings, or they can choose from a menu of MOD classics. Each pizza is hand-cooked in an 800-degree oven in just minutes, and salads are hand-tossed in front of the customer. MOD Pizza also serves local draft beers, wine, handspun milkshakes and house-made lemonades and iced teas.
