ORT CHARITY EVENT SET FOR AUGUST 13

On Wednesday evening, August 13, this summer’s premier charity event will take place at the Franklin Hills Country Club.

The evening, “Club 1880 at ORT Rub-A-Dub 2014”, benefits the local and international educational and vocational programs offered by ORT.  ORT is a unique world charity, first organized in 1880 in St. Petersburg, Russia, that provides training and education to school age children, vocational schools, college students, as well as the unemployed and underemployed.

The fundraiser starts with a silent auction and cocktail reception, followed by a Mexican-themed dinner, live auction and dancing to the Foster Brooks Band.  Attire for the event is “dressy casual”.
