Vote Now: Troy Athlete of the Fall Season
Vote from a list of very deserving candidates on who should be named the Patch Athlete of the Season for the Troy area.

There were a lot of great individual performances from high school athletes from and high schools this fall and we want to hear from our readers which one they thought was the best.
Here are the candidates:
Jason Leslie (senior Troy soccer) – Leslie was the only player on the Colts to score in the double-digits this season and earned All-League status. It was the senior’s two goal performance that helped Troy to an overtime 2-1 win over Walled Lake Northern . It was the school’s first regional title since 2003.

Lonnie Bolden (senior, Troy Athens football) – Bolden was a two-way starter for the Red Hawks this season. He earned for his performance at running back, but the senior was also one of the team’s top defensive backs. He picked up a in Troy Athens playoff game against Romeo that almost helped the team advance in the first round.
Nicole Hahn (junior, Troy volleyball) – The six-foot-one junior improved a lot this season and helped her team finish 8-0 this season in the Oakland Activities Association White division and win a district title. In the teams , her and Olivia Parks led the Colts in kills.

Jennifer Yang (sophomore, Troy Athens golf) – No doubt about it, Yang The 15-year-old finished 17th at the Division 1 state finals at the Meadows at Grand Valley State University, took first place in the Oakland County Invitational and kept a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. The sophomore is also the first girl to be named to any all-state girls golf team in the history of the school.
Justin Losey (junior, Troy football) – In his second year as starting at quarterback for the Colts, Losey made the . He was one of only six players to be named to Troy’s 2011 Black Stallions Club. To gain membership each player must reach certain benchmarks in weight lifting and other physical activities like sit-ups.
Alex Serwatka (senior, Troy Athens soccer) – The Red Hawks midfielder was All-League this season and led the team in assists. He was also one of the team’s top scorers. His performance helped Troy Athens reach the
