Secrest Wardle Attorneys Attend Justice Foundation of West Michigan Trust Benefit Dinner

On February 23, 2017, Secrest Wardle Partner, Amanda Fopma, and Executive Partners, Sarah Walburn and Henry Emrich, along with Henry’s wife, Anne Emrich, attended the Justice Foundation of West Michigan Trust Benefit Dinner. All three attorneys present at the event practice out of Secrest Wardle’s Grand Rapids office. The event took place at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan and served to raise awareness and funds for the Justice Foundation of West Michigan Trust. The evening included a silent auction followed by a dinner and a performance by the political satire performance group, Capitol Steps.
The Justice Foundation of West Michigan, the charitable arm of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, is a private foundation which serves the community through the funding of programs that promote or provide legal services to the disadvantaged, improve the administration of justice, and educate the public about core democratic values. Last year, grants were distributed to local programs providing legal services to the underprivileged; to youth programs and projects serving to educate our youth on democracy, freedom, and the U.S. Constitution; and to increase support for educational programs ]and services for those serving individuals with special needs. The Justice Foundation of West Michigan is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible.
