Secrest Wardle Welcomes Four New Associate Attorneys

All four attorneys join Secrest Wardle at the Firm's Troy location

Aleasha L. Hester is an associate attorney in the Firm’s Troy office. She joined Secrest Wardle in 2017 and is a member of the Motor Vehicle Litigation and Premises Liability Practice Groups. Ms. Hester has experience litigating business law, estate planning, and motor vehicle matters.

Ms. Hester obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration, triple majoring in marketing, advertising and management, from Northwood University in 2006. She earned her Juris Doctorate with a business transactions concentration from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2016. Ms. Hester also earned her General Civil Mediation Training Certificate from Oakland Mediation Center in 2014, allowing her to mediate general civil matters.

Rebecca M. McLaughlin joins the Firm’s Troy location as an associate attorney. Ms. McLaughlin is a member of Secrest Wardle’s Motor Vehicle Litigation Practice Group. She has additional experience in medical malpractice defense, family law, and elder law matters.

Ms. McLaughlin earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Spanish from Kalamazoo College. She pursued her law degree at Wayne State University School of Law and graduated cum laude. She was also a Senior Editor of the Wayne Law Review and a member of the Board of the Free Legal Aid Clinic. Ms. McLaughlin is licensed to practice law in Michigan. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2015.

Amber C. Rouse is an associate attorney located in the Firm’s Troy office. Ms. Rouse joined Secrest Wardle in 2017 and is a member of the Firm’s Motor Vehicle Litigation Practice Group. She specializes in Defense litigation of First-Party and Third-Party auto negligence and Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association automobile matters. Specifically, Ms. Rouse handles litigation from the discovery phase through trial.

Ms. Rouse received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Oakland University in 2012. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated cum laude.

Nicholas W. Siewert is a member of Secrest Wardle’s Motor Vehicle Litigation, Premises Liability, Product Liability, and Construction Practice Groups. Mr. Siewert is also skilled in business, labor and employment, and commercial litigation matters. He joined the Firm in 2017.

Mr. Siewert obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from University of Detroit Mercy Law School. Mr. Siewert is licensed to practice law in Michigan. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2014.
