Troy Gets Better 4G LTE Service

AT&T improves its network near West Big Beaver and Coolidge.

AT&T customers in Troy can expect to see better mobile Internet coverage and voice performance. The company has invested in ongoing efforts to improve its wireless performance through the Oakland County area.

Faster data speeds and improved performance will be noticed in Troy near West Big Beaver and Coolidge Highway.

“This investment in the Oakland County community is one of the ways we’re working to give our customers a better experience,” said Jim Murray, president, AT&T Michigan. “We’re building a 4G network that’s smarter and better to help them stay connected whether they’re at home or on the go.”

The enhancement adds new layers of frequency, also known as a “carriers” to one cell sites in Troy. This will create stronger Internet connections and help better manage mobile traffic.
