Troy Students Shine in the Spotlight in Dr. Seuss Musical
Project DayDream will present "Seussical the Musical" from Wednesday through Friday at Birmingham Seaholm High School.

Fifteen Troy residents will participate in Project DayDream's Seussical the Musical this week at Wagner Auditorium at Birmingham .
The show, which includes more than 70 actors and crew from the Metro Detroit area, will start at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
Seussical the Musical follows the adventures of Horton the elephant, who one day hears voices coming from a speck of dust that come from the inhabitants of a tiny planet located on the speck. In Horton's quest to protect the speck from harm, Horton runs into The Cat in the Hat, Mayzie LaBird, JoJo, Gertrude McFuzz, Sour Kangaroo and many other popular Dr. Seuss characters.

Project DayDream is a performing arts company founded in Metro Detroit to provide aspiring performers a place to develop individual talents while being a vital part of a group.
According to a Project DayDream release, Troy residents in the show are: Lucy Payne of Our Lady Queen of Martrys, who will play the role of Cindy Lou Who; Shannon Milner of Sacred Heart, who will play the role of Wickersham No. 2; Lauren Lenz of Troy Athens, who will play the role of General Schmitz; and Stephanie Dean of Shrine High, who will play the role of Mrs. Mayor.

Members of the ensemble also include Tyler and Mallory Bouque of Schroeder; Anna Czaspki of Notre Dame Prep; Cate Czapski of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs; Marianna Renke of Boulun Park; Lily Renke of Bemis; Marie and Charlotte Carozza of Roeper; Lindsey Gergel of Larson; Kristen lenz of Costello; and Mary Margaret Payne of Notre Dame Prep.
General admission tickets cost $15 in advance at ProjectDayDream.org or $17 on the day of performance. Special reserved seating is available for $35.
