Troy Police Arrest Woman Walking With Empty 55-gallon Drum On Her Head: Police
Michigan State Police saw the woman picking up litter alongside northbound Interstate 75, just north of Big Beaver Road Sunday evening.
TROY, MI — A woman was arrested Sunday in Troy after police said she ignored officers when they spotted her walking with a with an empty 55-gallon drum over her head.
A Michigan State Police trooper saw the woman picking up litter alongside northbound Interstate 75, just north of Big Beaver Road at 6:30 p.m. officials said.
The trooper approached the 33-year-old woman and asked for her ID, but she became erratic and refused to cooperate with the trooper, officials said.

That's when the trooper believed the woman was under the influence of some kind of drug, officials said.
Troy Police arrived at the scene shortly later, but the woman also ignored their orders to stop as well, officials said.

The woman was then arrested and placed in the Oakland County Jail, officials said.
Charges are pending while officials investigate. Officials did not report any injuries during the arrest.
