All-girls robotics team gears up for next season (candgnews.com) — A Troy-based all-girls robotics team, including students from Larson Middle School in the Troy School District, is building on an award-winning rookie season as they prepare for new competitions. After earning major honors at the Chicago Robotics Invitational, the girls are deep into preseason workshops, sharpening skills in design, coding, and robot building while expanding community outreach and sponsorships.

Bradley Scholar, earning a prestigious four-year high school scholarship for gifted learners. The national program recognizes just 26 students for exceptional academics and talents, providing tuition support plus ongoing counseling and educational advocacy.

Clarkston edges out Adams, Mercy at Oakland County D1 championship (theoaklandpress.com) — Troy golf fans saw their high school team tie for 10th at the Oakland County Division 1 girls championship at Fieldstone, with freshman Hannah Kim shooting a strong 78. While Clarkston edged Adams and Mercy for the title, Troy's showing and Kim's performance highlight a competitive local squad in a deep county field.
   

4. Automation Alley unveils new program aimed at helping small auto manufacturers (uppermichiganssource.com) — A Troy-based nonprofit, Automation Alley, is rolling out a free support program to help very small Michigan auto suppliers strengthen operations and pivot toward growth areas like electric vehicles. Businesses with fewer than 10 employees can get technical, financial, legal, and capital-planning assistance through the new MEDC-backed Michigan Auto Supplier Transition Program.
