• Family starts Jameson Strong nonprofit to support kids with cancer after son's death (midmichigannow.com) — A Vassar family is honoring 8-year-old Jameson Doud by running Jameson Strong, a faith-based nonprofit that sends personalized care packages to children with cancer nationwide. Working from their grief, Joshua and Amanda Doud and their kids have already shipped more than 270 boxes to 42 states, each filled with prayer books, wooden crosses, and custom gifts inspired by Jameson’s wish to help other young patients.
