• Citizen Potawatomi Nation joins confederation of 12 sister tribes across U.S., Canada (kosu.org) — Wayland is highlighted as the 2025 host site where Potawatomi tribal leaders first formed the Bodéwadmi Confederation of Tribal Nations, now including 12 tribes across the U.S. and Canada. At this year’s gathering in Wisconsin, the Citizen Potawatomi Nation formally joined, aiming to strengthen shared political influence and collaboration among member tribes.
