2017 Lingenfelter Cars & Coffee Series

Car enthusiasts are invited to start each summer weekend enjoying auto “show and tell” at Lingenfelter Cars & Coffee. Each Saturday morning, June 3 – August 26, Lingenfelter’s North Engine Build Facility in Wixom will open its doors and parking to the public. As in years past, the location will be the gathering spot for hundreds of car lovers, travelling from near and far, to show off their auto designs and see the latest and greatest in performance cars from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.

“When we introduced the Cars and Coffee series in 2014, we were not sure what to expect,” said Ken Lingenfelter, owner Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. “We are so pleased that the car-loving community has embraced the series and that the reach of the event continues to grow. We are looking forward to starting our weekends with discussion on innovations in design and performance with our guests.”

Lingenfelter Cars & Coffee will be held rain or shine. While there is no fee to participate in the event, guests are asked to donate to Gleaners Community Food Bank. Nonperishable food items and monetary donations will be accepted on-site. To date, the generosity of Lingenfelter Cars & Coffee participants has generated enough donations for over 25,400 meals.

For 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed more than 38 million pounds of emergency food to over 534 partner schools, soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties. Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 95 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments while they display their personalized cars and meet other car buffs from the community and around the country.
