
The Michael Golds Memorial AD/HD Conference is coming to the OCC - Oakland Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills on Friday September 27.
Kevin J. Roberts, M.A. is one of 15 speakers who will be presenting at the conference. His topic is "AD/HD and Cyber Addictions: A Neurological Nexxus."
The allure of the cyber world for AD/HD people will be discussed in detail, covering smart phones, video games, social networking and the Internet. The speaker draws on his own struggles with cyber addictions as well as those of his students and clients around the globe.

Bio: Kevin Roberts speaks around the world about technology, cyber addiction and AD/HD, and is the author of "Cyber Junkie: Escape the Internet and Gaming Trap" (Hazelden 2010) and "Movers, Dreamers, and Risk Takers: Unlocking the Power of ADHD (Hazelden 2012). He has trained therapists, students, physicians, nurses, teachers, parents and school administrators on the perils of the Internet and video games, as well as AD/HD.
Social Workers will earn 5 CEU's.
