
Jennifer Perrone, director of special services for the West Bloomfield School District, was honored with the annually-awarded Gregory Gwisdalla Special Education Administrator of the Year Award by the Special Education Administrators of Oakland County (SEAOC) Wednesday night.
According to a blog post written by Superintendent JoAnn Andrees, Perrone was nominated by her peers who for developing the West Bloomfield , a post-secondary education program launched by the district in fall 2011 to benefit adult special education students.
"Jennifer has also served as President of SEAOC this year, and went over and above her duties to assist the organization in overcoming several special challenges they were faced with," Andrees wrote.
