
presents Mothers, Daughters, Sisters & Friends, featuring a 2012 Spring Trend Fashion Show by Saks Fifth Avenue – Troy. The event includes a luncheon, boutique shopping, and more, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, in the hospital’s Ravitz Foundation Main Atrium.
The event is a benefit for the Francee & Benson Ford Jr. Breast Care & Wellness Center at the hospital.
Hosted by this year’s honoree, Gerard van Grinsven, the president and CEO of Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, the eighth annual benefit will raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. WDIV-TV’s Carmen Harlan will be the mistress of ceremonies.
Over the past eight years, Mothers, Daughters, Sisters and Friends has raised more than $1.6 million for the Henry Ford fund.
The event will showcase amenities at the hospital, including the dk (demonstration kitchen), Vita Wellness Center, the Live Well Shoppe and more. Boutiques offering a variety of unique apparel, jewelry and accessories, will be open before and after the 11 a.m. fashion show with the luncheon to follow.
Event co-chairs are Florine Mark and her daughter Lisa Lis, both of Farmington Hills, and Francee Ford of Birmingham and her mother, Micki Kline of West Bloomfield.
Tickets for the luncheon begin at $125. Seating is very limited; please make your reservation early.
