Be Enveloped in Consolation Through Word and Sound on Good Friday
Pine Hill Congregational Church will give the chance for those on Good Friday to feel the consoling presence of God through prayer and gong.
A service of meditation and sacred gonging will occur on Good Friday, March 30, 2018, at 3:00 pm, at the Pine Hill Congregational Church, 4160 Middlebelt Road, West Bloomfield, Michigan, as the arms of God enfold participants in word and sound. Rev. Dr. Charles Packer will offer spoken reflection on the consolation of God for all that we grieve as individuals and as a community, and sound therapist Christopher Davis will play the gongs, enveloping all with God's peace. There is no set charge, but a free-will offering will be taken, and this is open to all.
