The Underground Railroad Michigan Connection

Historian and former Pontiac mayor Dr. Willie W. Payne uses photos and music to chronicle the lives of southern fugitive slaves and the Michigan abolitionists and free blacks who helped them along the Underground Railroad. Dressed in period costume Dr. Payne will educate and entertain.

Sunday, February 22 at 2 P Main Library.
