26 Businesses along Orchard Lake Road are participating in a huge shopping weekend

Owning a small business in Michigan, in this rollercoaster ride of an economy makes it near impossible.

Despite all of these challenges, 26 small business along Orchard Lake Road are gearing up for a huge shopping weekend!

On Thursday, August 18^th and Friday, August 19^th, 26 businesses between 14 mile and 15 mile on Orchard Lake Road will be banding together in a united event called, “Give N’ Get.” For these two days, businesses will be donating a portion of their proceeds to Friendship Circle, a West Bloomfield based nonprofit that provides assistance to individuals with special needs.

On Sunday, August 21^st, Fringe Salon, Real Ryder Revolution, Pure Element Pilates and Yoga Shelter are each hosting their own fundraising event where 100% of their proceeds will be donated to Friendship Circle.

Director and founder of Friendship Circle, Bassie Shemtov says, “We are thrilled and so grateful to these 26 businesses. Their goal is to bring in crucial funds to support our programming and our goal is to bring traffic to their stores. It’s a win, win situation and frankly, it’s going to be a very fun event with plenty of entertainment and activities as well!”
