American Sign Language is a complete and complex visual language that uses finger spelling, hand shapes and body movements. It has its own rules for grammar, punctuation and syntax.
Learn everyday greetings, ABCs, and numbers 1-20 through this fascinating introduction to American Sign Language (ASL). Erin was born hearing and became deaf at seven months of age. She has appeared in TV commercials and spoken at colleges and universities about ASL. Her father, Joel, will facilitate and provide interpretation for the audience.
