There will be a two session Babysitter Safety and CPR course today at Orchard Lake Middle School. Participants will learn basic skills for caring for young children as well as emergency procedures. Other topics will be covered including diapering, feeding, taming tots and more. Participants will also be taught CPR and first aid. If successfully completed they will receive a CPR certification card. In order to receive a Babysitter Safety certification card teens must be at least 11 years old. Although 9 and 10 year olds can take the class.
Parents must bring students to class and sign them in and out. The next session is tomorrow May 17.
