Growing Into Grace - - Appearance by Authors

Two local writers will talk about and sign their June 2011 book, "Growing Into Grace: Adventures Self Discovery Through Writing." It explores how women can gain and share personal insights by writing about their experiences, emotions and reflections.

The co-authors are:

  • Renee S. Lerche of Bloomfield Hills, who has more than 25 years of senior-level human resources management and workforce development experience. She earned a doctorate from Harvard University Graduate School of Education in 1983.
  • Suzie Rollins Mitchell of West Bloomfield, who has been a journalist, press secretary, public relations adviser and national political fundraiser. She served  as Oakland County's director of public information for nine years and currently is president and chief financial officer of Mitchell Research & Communications, Inc., a public relations and political campaign consultancy with offices in East Lansing and West Bloomfield.

A third author of the 80-page paperback is Mary Connelly, a writer who graduated from the University of Michigan.
