School Enrollment and Facilities Open House

The  is pleased to invite its parents, students, teachers, staff and community members to Community Open House meetings addressing the work of the School Enrollment and Facilities Project (SEAF). The primary function of the Community Open Houses is to collect community opinion on concrete scenarios for the possible closing of buildings associated with the SEAF Project.

The format for the Open House is structured to be informal and provide participants an opportunity to obtain information on a “one-on-one” basis. West Bloomfield School District Administrators, Western Demographics (the consultant hired by the school district for this project) and SEAF Steering Committee members will be available to explain the scenarios and answer questions.

The Open House meetings will include the following features:

  • Two-hour meeting time "window" (Participants attend at their convenience anytime between 7-9 p.m.)
  • Information will be displayed on portable kiosks – Participants are invited to read the information on the kiosks and ask questions
  • Participants receive one-on-one interpretation of information and scenarios by facilitators and may ask any question
  • Participants complete a survey for feedback and scenario preference
  • Both meetings are identical in content and format. Meetings include two locations.
