JVS's Digital Literacy Series will help you overcome techno-phobia and use your phone or tablet like a pro.

Getting flustered by technology? Learn how to make the most of your phone, tablet or laptop in a friendly, supportive class offered by JVS in West Bloomfield. The Digital Literacy Series will provide computer and social media basics to help you keep up with loved ones, friends and former colleagues.
This popular program covers a range of technology topics in six sessions, which can be taken individually or as a series. Each class is $10. Sessions include:
- Microsoft Word 2010 for Beginners - Feb. 24 from 1-2 p.m.
- Google Apps (NEW!) - Mar. 3 from 1-2 p.m.
- iPad/iPhone Fundamentals - Mar. 17 from 11 a.m.-noon or 1-2 p.m.
- Say No to Scams (NEW!) - Mar. 31 from 1-2 p.m.
- Getting Started with Facebook - Apr. 7 from 1-2 p.m.
All classes are held at the David B. Hermelin ORT Resource Center (a division of JVS), inside the Jewish Community Center, 6600 W. Maple Rd., West Bloomfield.
