Oakland County Babysitter Sexually Assaults Child For Years: Police
An Oakland County babysitter is facing charges after sexually assaulting a child for years, according to police.

WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI — A West Bloomfield babysitter is facing charges after sexually assaulting a child for years, according to police.
Michael Alan Bank, 58, was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct of a person under 13 and one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct of a person under 13.
He was placed in the Oakland County Jail without bond.

The child’s mother told police last month that she used sittercity.com to hire Bank as a nanny. Over the following years, Bank sexually assaulted the child, according to police.
On Jan. 15, officers raided Bank’s home on Aeroview Street in West Bloomfield Township and arrested him, according to police.

Investigators collected several electronic devices from Bank's home during the search. They found a "multitude" of evidence of children, including what appeared to be Bank with some of those children in various compromised positions and acts.
