
The Michael Golds Memorial AD/HD Conference is coming to the OCC - Oakland Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills on Friday September 27.
Fran Parker, Ph.D. is one of 15 speakers who will be presenting at the conference. Her topic is "Parenting Kids with AD/HD from Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood."
Dr. Parker will empower parents with parenting tips to reduce daily stress, based on National CHADD's 14 hour Parent to Parent Program. A child's greatest resources are parents who are educated about their child and understands what their child needs.

Bio: Dr. Parker is a licensed psychologist in private practice at Comprehensive Psychiatric Services in Farmington Hills, Mi. She is the Coordinator of Eastern Oakland County Chapter of CHADD, A Parent-to-Parent teacher since 2004, and recipient of the 2010 National CHADD Parenting Teacher Award. She is the moderator for CHADD's online community on parenting young Adults with AD/HD. She has been a member of the Michael Golds Memorial AD/HD conference Planning Committee and assisted in the development of programming for over eight years.
