
The Michael Golds Memorial AD/HD Conference is coming to the OCC - Oakland Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills on Friday September 27.
Gabriella Geiszt, M.D. is one of 15 speakers who will be presenting at the conference. Her topic is "Pharmacologic Treatment of AD/HD in Children and Adolescents."
Despite the public and media controversies, pharmacologic management of AD/HD is one of the best studied areas in pediatric psychiatry. Dr. Geiszt will focus on understanding the current medication treatment options for AD/HD, summarizing the evidence supporting them, and reviewing the common side effects associated with them.

BIO: Dr. Gabriella Geiszt is the Child Psychiatric Consultant of the AD/HD Clinic at Children's Hospital of Michigan. She educates pediatric residents about AD/HD management. She is also an Assistant Professor and Clinical Educator in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Wayne State University, School of Medicine.
Social Workers will earn 5 CEU's.
