Residents with Special Needs find home in West Bloomfield
West Bloomfield's Soul Café and Dresner Soul Studio provide spaces for residents with special needs.

West Bloomfield, MI – West Bloomfield’s new Soul Café is partially staffed by highly-skilled adults with special needs.
Next door to the cafe is Dresner Soul Studio, where artists with special needs show off and sell their artwork, which includes everything from from weaving to woodworking.
The Oakland Press reported that Soul Café and the Dresner Soul Studio are part of the Farber Center, which grew out of the Friendship Circle.

Bassie Shemtov founded the Friendship Circle in 1994 to provide friendship, recreational, educational and vocational opportunities to special needs person and their families.

Soul Café and the Dresner Soul Studio are open Sundays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Farber Center is located at 5586 Drake Road, West Bloomfield Township.
