Viewfinder: 2011 Frankel Jewish Academy Graduation

A large crowd to celebrated 58 seniors in the 2011 graduating class of at Temple Israel on Wednesday. The ceremony honored students with a senior video, student reflections, and individual teacher comments for all graduates.

Retiring Dean of Upperclassmen Jerry Gutman said of graduating senior Jessica Kahn, "Jessica is the embodiment of what we want our FJA students to be. She’s a Minyan leader, she includes everyone, and she is sensitive to everyone’s needs. Jessie is nurturing and holds dear what I hold most dear, and that is honesty and integrity. Jessie is mature beyond her years and is a very poised young woman who truly knows who she is."

Senior class treasurer Anna Eisenberg presented Head of School Rabbi Eric Grossman with a mezuzah to hang at FJA.
