West Bloomfield Elementary School Competes for $200K Prize

Scotch Elementary School in West Bloomfield has been nominated for a $200,000 “Together for Safer Schools” grant from Stanley Security.

To win, the school must receive the most votes at stanleysaferschools.com Nov. 5-Dec. 13. 

“We’re hoping to convince every family in our community to vote once a day for West Bloomfield’s beloved Scotch School,” said principal James Scrivo. “While we’ve implemented many safety improvements in the past few years, it’s important that we continue to evaluate our security, an easy task with this generous grant that helps us focus on what’s really important — education.” 

The school with the most votes will win $200,000 in Stanley Security installed products and services. Three runners-up will each receive $100,000 in security products. These products and services could include intruder classroom locks, traditional or audio intrusion systems, video surveillance, access control systems and more.
