West Bloomfield Police Opens Its Doors to Craigslist Transactions
The department will allow residents to use its station's lobby and parking to do complete their online business.

As a way to keep residents safe, the West Bloomfield Police Department will allow people to use the lobby and parking lot at its headquarters, 4530 Walnut Lake Road, to perform Craigslist transactions, according to a C&G News report.
Police will not oversee the transactions, but the department will provide a safe haven for them to occur, the report stated. Although West Bloomfield hasn’t had a lot of criminal incidents involving Craigslist transactions, such as scams, robberies and physical assaults, the move is an extra precaution to keep residents safe, the report added.
