What's the Most Frequent Crime in West Bloomfield Township?
The FBI has released its Crime in the United States report for 2014.
West Bloomfield Township reported 50 incidents of violent crime in 2014, including five rapes, according to the FBI’s recently released Crime in the United States report for 2014.
But property crimes and larceny were the most frequently reported crimes.
West Bloomfield Township, with a population of 66,222, reported the following:
- Violent crime: 50
- Murder and non-negligent homicide: 0
- Rape: 5
- Robbery: 5
- Aggravated assault: 40
- Property crime: 514
- Burglary: 83
- Larceny-theft: 419
- Motor vehicle theft: 12
- Arson: 3
As a whole, Oakland County reported:
- Violent crime: 934
- Murder and non-negligent homicide: 6
- Rape: 111
- Robbery: 155
- Aggravated assault: 662
- Property crime: 3,723
- Burglary: 926
- Larceny-theft: 2,508
- Motor vehicle theft: 289
- Arson: 55
