HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP, MI — Two men were injured after a tree fell on their pickup trucks in Highland Township during stormy weather Wednesday afternoon, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's officials said the incident happened just before 3 p.m. Wednesday on South Duck Lake Road, south of Livingston Road.

A 35-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, was driving a 2015 Hino box truck south on South Duck Lake Road at 3 p.m. when high winds caused a large tree on the west side of the road to break off and land on the cab of the truck, according to sheriff's officials.
