1. The weather
The National Weather Service says we can expect sunshine and a high of 88 in the White Lake area. Friday evening's low will be about 66.
2. Gas prices
According to DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Thursday night was $3.48 per gallon at the on Cooley Lake Road. In Highland, the Citgo at 2650 S Milford Rd. had the lowest price at $3.41.
3. On this day in history
According to History.com, in 1985, Prince Charles and Princess Diana kicked off the Live Aid concert in London. The worldwide event, which went on simultaneously at other major venues, raised $125 million for famine-stricken Africans.
