Au pair from Au Pair in America Volunteers for Spring Egg Hunt

Anna-Lena (Leni) Pachner, a German au pair from Au Pair in America,  volunteered for the SPRING EGG HUNT on Sunday March 24 at Heritage Park.

Despite the cold and wind, this event drew a large crowd and the organizers needed as much help as they could in order to run the various games.      Egg hunts were done by age group and the kids had a ball collecting eggs.

The children also enjoyed getting their faces painted and playing games like Plinko (Leni was in charge of Plinko for the youngest children).      Leni enjoyed her first volunteer experience helping in a well-attended community event and hopes to be able to participate in other events during her year here as an au pair.
