Due to overwhelming interest, Waterford’s Got Talent officials have expanded the opportunity to audition for the show to all of Oakland County.  Working in partnership with Media Network of Waterford, the newly titled show, “BRING IT – Waterford’s Regional Talent Show” is hosting auditions for individuals and groups of all ages and talents who live, work or attend school in Oakland County on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at theWaterford Mott Performing Arts Center, located at 1151 Scott Lake Road in Waterford.

This is an opportunity for individuals and groups ranging in age from young children and teens to adults and seniors to showcase their vocal, instrumental, gymnastic, dance, artistic, magical, comedic and other unique talents.  Even those owning talented pets are encouraged to attend and demonstrate their finest stunts.  The top 16 acts will be selected to perform on September 14, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Waterford Mott High School Performing Arts Center.

 

Audition registrations include a non-refundable fee of $10.00 for individual acts and $20.00 per group.  Contestants can register onsite the morning of May 11 at an increased registration price of $15.00 for individual acts and $25.00 per group.  Those under 18 wishing to audition must have a parent or guardian’s permission.  Tickets to the September performance will go on sale in August.

 

Pre-registration information and audition forms can be found on the coalition’s website atwww.wcfy.org   Those auditioning also have the opportunity to upload their audition to You Tube if they cannot attend on the 11th.  Pre-registration paperwork is also required of those uploading their auditions.  

 

Fox 2’s Jay Towers returns for the third year as Master of Ceremonies for this exciting community event.  Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded and new this year will be the opportunity for audience members to cast their votes for their selections of winners, along with celebrity judges, including WYCD’s Rachael Hunter.
