SUNDAY, MAY 19th, 2013 @ 5:00 pm at the Hartland Performing Arts Center, 9525 E. Highland Road, Howell. Proceeds to benefit the Fenton Community Orchestra.
- Area kids have been participating in Rock Band Camps at A Joyful Noise Music Studio since 2007.We established The Fenton Institute for Rock Excellence (FIRE) in 2011 after noticing just how THRILLED audiences were with these kids' performances!
- FIRE is a program for high-achieving students who work with fellow band members to craft ROCK EXCELLENCE! Every Spring, FIRE bands put on a fabulous concert for area residents.
- A Joyful Noise Music Studio and FIRE have formed a unique partnership with The Fenton Community Orchestra (FCO). FCO was founded in 2010 by three Fenton residents who wished to bring a community orchestra experience for musicians of all ages to the area. Since that time, nearly 100 individuals ages 10 to 85 have participated as musicians with hundreds more experiencing FCO's many FREE concerts!
- In 2012, FCO and FIRE members joined forces, creating the area's only Rock Orchestra, which will be a featured part of the May 19th show. Support for this concert will benefit multi-generational music in the area!
- Tickets available at the door on the day of the concert, or by calling A Joyful Noise Music Studio, 111 W. Shiawassee Ave., Fenton, MI 48430 (810) 373-4030
