VFAA hires Director of Development, Focuses on New Art Center

Milford, Mich.--The Village Fine Arts Association (VFAA) is
pleased to announce the hiring of Andrea Perry as its Director of Development. As the first-ever VFAA employee, Perry will focus on bringing the Suzanne Haskew Art Center (SHAC) to Milford. 

“Andrea is a creative thinker with strong community contacts and ties to Milford,” said Susan Gollon, VFAA Executive Director. “With our community’s help, we are confident that Andrea will lead the VFAA in fulfilling
our dream of bringing an art center to Milford.”  The VFAA has been an all-volunteer organization for over two decades but the decision and challenge to move forward with the SHAC required a dedicated, compensated director. The VFAA looks forward to continuing and expanding their active role in the community with this exciting new
concept.

The granddaughter of Suzie Haskew,  one of the founding mothers of the VFAA, Andrea credits her attraction to the arts to her grandmother. Growing up in South Lyon, Andrea spent much of her childhood in Milford attending community events with her family. After marrying life-long Milford resident Isaac Perry in 2001, the couple made their home with their two children in Isaac’s childhood home in the village.
