Homeschool Program: French Voyageurs and the Fur Trade at Kensington Metropark Nature Center
Experience the Great Lakes fur-trade era roughly from
the mid 17th through the 19th century. We'll focus on the everyday life of
voyageurs using living history interpretation and hands-on activities featuring
furs and trade goods. Ages 8 - 10.
