Two economists from the Detroit branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will present an economic forecast for 2015, at 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at the Baker College of Flint Center for Business, 1050 W. Bristol Road. The event is free and open to the public. Preregistration is not necessary.
The Fed presenters, Paul Traub, senior business economist, and Martin Lavelle, business economist, will also lead a discussion about the U.S. economy, as well as the outlook for Michigan.
“This is a great opportunity for area leaders, members of our community and students to hear an economic analysis from the perspective of economists at the Federal Reserve Bank,” said John Cote, Ph.D., Baker College of Flint dean of business administration. “Anyone who is interested in their economic future—from those who are currently employed to retirees and even students—should benefit from an understanding of the economic indicators that are influencing our fiscal landscape.”
