Accomplishment: Waite's performance against South Lyon on Sept. 1 helped the Lakeland Eagles solidify their 12-7 victory.

Key to Awesomeness: According to Lakeland head coach John Maltese, Waite swarmed the field and led the defense against South Lyon. Waite, a linebacker, recorded two fumbles in that game and helped the Eagles to their first victory of the season.
