
Lifelong Wyandotte resident Ruth Haag died Sept. 11. She was 85. Haag was an active member of , the Episcopal Church Women, and was a Sunday school teacher for 17 years.
She also worked for many years as a receptionist at Marcia’s School of Dance in Wyandotte.
Haag is survived by her daughter Shelley (Gerry) Olexsey; her son Gavin (Kathleen) Haag; and grandchildren Andrew Olexsey, Jenna Olexsey and Celiya Haag. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Haag, and her siblings, Melba, Grace Mary, Sue, James “Buck” and Dale.

No visitation will be held. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 2803 First St., Wyandotte. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Stephen’s Memorial Garden, 2803 First St., Wyandotte, MI 48192.
